Christy, (Dharana Shakti), E-RYT500, AYS, C-IAYT, YACEP, practices and teaches yoga and Ayurveda with great love and sincerity from her small goat farm in Kansas. She desires to teach these self-healing practices in a way that is easily obtainable for everyone.

Christy is a certified yoga therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, Certified Ayurveda Specialist with the Himalayan Institute, and Certified Archetypal Consultant with the CMED Institute. She earned her Level 3 CPD Award in Animal Assisted Therapy, and also holds a Certificate in Therapeutic Art. She is currently under the tutelage of Swami Premajyoti Saraswati.

Christy is the Director and lead teacher of the Institute of Interdisciplinary Yoga Studies, IAYT accredited yoga therapy training program RYS 300/500. She is a co-founder and lead trainer at the Dharma House School of Yoga, RYS 200 Christy guides and supports her students with humor and compassion. She combines her knowledge of Ayurveda and yoga with the ability to interpret archetypal patterns to identify patterns in the body, mind and psyche that contribute to presenting symptoms in daily life. Christy enjoys preserving the beauty and integrity found in the artistry of of living close to the earth, growing food, working with herbs, creating natural products and caring for her beloved goats.

Join us for a workshop and learn to produce your own artisan products! Our soap making classes offer everything you need to make natural handcrafted soap in your own home. In our Farmstead Artisan Cheese making workshops you will learn to make cheese using traditional methods. We also offer classes in candle making, herbalism, growing micorgreens, and of course goat yoga!
