Floating Sound BathImmersive Rest in SuspensionBeginning May · Providence Hill Farm

Floating Sound Bath is a deeply immersive rest experience that combines gentle suspension in a low hammock with the resonant tones of Tibetan singing bowls.

As the body is fully supported and held close to the earth, sound moves through you in a way that is both grounding and expansive. The vibration of the bowls travels through the hammock and into the body, helping the nervous system settle and the mind soften without effort.

This experience is not about doing, stretching, or achieving a particular state. It is about being held by sound and allowing the body to rest.

What Is a Sound Bath?

A sound bath is a meditative experience where sustained tones and vibrations guide the body and nervous system into a deeply relaxed state. Tibetan singing bowls are traditionally used to support nervous system regulation, stress and anxiety reduction, mental quiet and clarity, and deep rest and integration.

You are not asked to focus, visualize, or do it right. You simply lie back and receive the sound.

What Makes Floating Sound Bath Unique

The hammocks are set low, close to the ground, so you are fully supported at all times. No aerial experience is required. Classes are held in a small group setting with Tibetan singing bowls played live throughout the session, outdoors between the goat pens when weather permits.

The combination of suspension and vibration allows sound to be felt, not just heard.

What to Expect

You will settle gently into the hammock and be guided into stillness. From there, the sound bath unfolds as the bowls are played slowly and intentionally, allowing tones to rise, fade, and overlap.

There is no movement required. You may drift, rest, or enter a meditative state. Time is given at the end to ground and reorient before leaving.

This is not a performance. This is not a workout. This is an experience of rest.

Who This Is For

Floating Sound Bath is especially supportive for those carrying chronic stress or mental fatigue, those seeking non-verbal, non-effort-based meditation, anyone wanting deep rest without physical practice, and anyone curious about sound healing in a grounded setting.

If you can lie down and breathe, you can do this experience.
