Deep Rest in Suspension
June 27th· Providence Hill Farm
Floating Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative practice that invites the nervous system to soften, unwind, and reset—while fully supported in a low, comfortable hammock.
Practiced close to the earth, the hammock gently holds the body in suspension, allowing tension to release without effort. The experience is not about strength, flexibility, or performance. It is about rest, safety, and receiving support.
This offering is ideal for anyone seeking deep rest, stress relief, or a gentler entry point into aerial practice.
Yoga Nidra is a guided practice of conscious rest. Often described as “yogic sleep,” it supports deep nervous system regulation, mental clarity, and emotional integration.
In this floating version, the body is fully supported by the hammock, reducing pressure on joints and muscles and allowing the breath and mind to settle more easily.
Many people experience:
Profound relaxation without falling asleep
Reduced stress and anxiety
Improved sleep quality
A sense of clarity and renewal
Low hammock setup – close to the ground, fully supported
No aerial experience required
Small group setting for quiet, spacious practice
Outdoor immersion between the goat pens, weather permitting
Emphasis on safety, choice, and comfort at every step
You are always in control of your body and your experience. Adjustments and alternatives are offered throughout.
Gentle settling into the hammock
