The Art of Letting Go

A Floating Rest Mini Retreat

3-Hour Mini Retreat · May · Providence Hill Farm

This mini retreat marks the opening of the season at Providence Hill Farm. An invitation to step out of effort and into support.

Rest here is not the absence of activity. It is the condition that allows healing to happen naturally.

Held in a very small group, this half-day experience weaves together time on the land, gentle suspension, guided rest, sound, and nourishing food - creating a complete arc of settling, regulation, and integration.

The Shape of the Experience

The retreat unfolds slowly and intentionally.

We begin in the goat forest, inviting connection with the land, with ourselves, and with one another.

From there, the experience moves into:

  • A short, grounded talk on healing and rest, with cacao

  • Restorative suspension yoga in low hammocks

  • Floating Yoga Nidra

  • A Tibetan singing bowl sound bath

We close with a simple, nourishing meal of kitchari and tea - offering warmth, grounding, and time to integrate before you return home.

Nothing is rushed. Nothing needs to be achieved here.

About the Practices

All hammock work is fully supported, no aerial experience is required.

The goat hike and forest time are gentle and accessible, rooted in presence rather than distance or pace. Yoga Nidra and sound are offered as practices of deep rest, not performance or self-improvement. Kitchari and tea are shared simply, as grounding supports for digestion and integration at the close of the day.

You are always invited to listen to your body and choose what feels right for you.

Who This Retreat Is For

This offering is especially supportive for those who are:

  • Carrying chronic stress or fatigue

  • Seeking rest that doesn't require effort

  • Wanting time in nature that is held and intentional

  • Curious about suspension in a gentle, safe setting

  • Drawn to a quieter, more intimate healing experience

If you can walk slowly, lie down, and breathe - you can participate fully.
