The Four Pillars of a Human Life: An Introduction to Your Life’s Purpose Through Aerial Yoga

The Four Pillars of a Human Life

An Introduction to Your Life’s Purpose Through Aerial Yoga

Saturdays | 9:00–11:00am
Investment: $220 for the full four-week series

This four-week series is a gentle, progressive introduction to aerial yoga woven with classical Tantric philosophy, embodied practice, and deep rest.

Designed for those who have never practiced aerial yoga, the series introduces suspension gradually, building trust, strength, confidence, and ease before culminating in a Floating Yoga Nidra experience.

Each session explores one of the four great aims of life through body, breath, and awareness. Together, they form a complete arc: a whole life lived and integrated through practice.

What to Expect

  • A slow, progressive introduction to aerial yoga

  • Low, supportive hammock work (no prior experience required)

  • Clear options and agency at every stage

  • Small group setting (only 4 participants) for individualized guidance

  • Outdoor practice in nature, weather permitting

  • A final session devoted entirely to Floating Yoga Nidra and Sankalpa

This is not performance-based aerial yoga.
It is somatic, intelligent, and deeply grounding.

The Four Sessions

Session I | Dharma

The Nature of the Soul
Remembering Your Innate Orientation

We begin close to the ground. Using a low hammock and restorative postures, the body is fully supported and allowed to rest.

This session introduces the hammock as a place of safety and containment, inviting the nervous system to settle and the body to remember its natural shape, like an acorn remembering it is meant to become an oak.

Session II | Artha

Finding Your Capacity
Strength, Support, and What It Takes to Sustain Life

Here we begin to explore capacity.

Through core work, supported planks, bridge, low down dog, sky dog with feet lifted, and seated postures, you learn how to support your own weight while partially suspended.

Fear, strength, and trust are met directly but gradually, allowing confidence to build through experience rather than force.

Session III | Kāma

The Joy of Fulfillment
Desire, Pleasure, and the Courage to Receive

With the hammock at the hip crease, we explore heart openers, supported backbends, and gentle inversions.

Pleasure, enjoyment, and disorientation are welcomed as teachers. In inversion, the ego releases its usual orientation, and joy is allowed to complete itself without grasping.

This session emphasizes receiving support, sensation, and delight.

Session IV | Mokṣa

Resting as Awareness
Yoga Nidra and the Seed of Sankalpa

The series culminates in a full Floating Yoga Nidra.

Everything practiced in the body over the previous weeks resolves here in stillness. You are guided to rest as awareness itself and to craft a personal sankalpa, not as a goal to achieve, but as a seed arising naturally from clarity and presence.

No effort.
Nothing to fix.
Only recognition.
