Most people encounter astrology through daily horoscopes or personality profiles. But astrology's deepest gift isn't prediction or categorization. It's a symbolic language that helps you recognize the patterns shaping your inner life.
This is astrology as contemplative practice, as meaning-making tool, as map for soul-work.
Astrology is not just a system of signs and symbols. It is a living language, one that describes how consciousness moves through a human life.
This 12-week teaching series explores the major archetypes of the zodiac as universal patterns that shape identity, relationship, purpose, and meaning. Each session focuses on one archetypal field (sign, planet, house, element, and modality) and how that pattern uniquely expresses itself in your own birth chart.
This is not a predictive astrology course. It is an experiential, archetypal approach designed to help you recognize recurring patterns, deepen self-understanding, and develop symbolic fluency over time.
As the weeks progress, students return to the same chart again and again, discovering new layers of meaning as awareness grows.
Each session includes:
A live teaching on the archetype of the week
Exploration of the sign, planet, and house involved
Elemental and modal themes (fire, earth, air, water · cardinal, fixed, mutable)
Shadow and gift expressions of the archetype
Guided inquiry using your own birth chart
Time for reflection and integration
The series is cumulative in nature. While each session stands on its own, students who attend consistently experience a deeper, more integrated understanding as the weeks unfold.
Students with astrology experience enrich our conversations. Students new to astrology learn the foundational language and archetypal patterns. This series gives you a solid foundation to continue learning. Not mastery in 12 weeks, but symbolic literacy and a framework you can build on.
This series is well-suited for:
Curious beginners seeking meaningful entry into astrology
Experienced students wanting a symbolic, archetypal approach
Therapists, yoga teachers, and facilitators exploring astrology as a reflective tool
Anyone interested in self-understanding through mythic and psychological language
Sessions are held live and also accessible via Zoom.
When weather allows, select sessions may be held outdoors as Fire Circle teachings at Providence Hill Farm. These gatherings follow the same instructional arc and weekly archetypal theme and are offered as an enhancement, not a requirement.
Because weather varies, Fire Circle gatherings are optional and not guaranteed. All sessions remain fully available via Zoom.
Attend live in person or via Zoom
Zoom recordings are provided to all paid participants upon request, If you cannot attend live, recordings allow you to stay connected to the series
Live participation is encouraged but not required.
