Yoga Workshops & Teacher Training

Yoga Workshops & Teacher Training

These yoga offerings are designed as a modular learning pathway. Students may begin with individual workshops to explore, or enroll in the full teacher training track and accumulate hours through curriculum-based study over time.

Workshops resume in the Spring. Each workshop follows a consistent format that weaves classical yoga wisdom with embodied practice. Together we explore yoga philosophy, physiology, and philology through the mythic storytelling language of the tradition, then bring those teachings into the body through carefully structured hatha practice, pranayama, and meditation.

What the workshops include

Each session is a complete teaching and practice arc, typically including:

  • Opening grounding and reflective inquiry

  • Mythic teaching story that introduces the theme of the day

  • Sutra or text exploration with practical application

  • Applied physiology and subtle body understanding

  • Hatha practice that embodies the teaching

  • Pranayama and meditation to integrate the nervous system and mind

  • Closing reflection and suggested home practice

This is not a casual drop-in class. It is study-based yoga, taught as a living tradition, with clear progression and space for real integration.

Teacher Training Pathway

Students who wish to pursue formal training may enroll in the Providence Hill Farm Teacher Training pathway.

  • Enrollment is $250

  • After enrolling, I maintain a transcript of your workshops, hours, and investment

  • Once you complete 200 foundational workshop hours, you meet or exceed Yoga Alliance standards

  • You graduate from the program and receive your certificate

This structure allows students to train through real relationship and consistency. It also allows life-friendly pacing without sacrificing rigor.

Who this is for

This pathway is ideal for students who want yoga that is both grounded and deeply intelligent, including:

  • practitioners seeking depth beyond general classes

  • teachers who want a stronger philosophical and subtle body foundation

  • students drawn to traditional teachings presented in a living, embodied way

  • anyone who learns best through study, practice, inquiry, and mentorship over time
